National Parks
The United Kingdom has fifteen National Parks. Spread across Great Britain they are made up of beautiful forests, tall mountains, gorgeous coastline and rolling hills. Some Parks have quickly become my favourites and some are still waiting to be ticked off from my list. I’ve got a huge list of routes planned out which cover some of the other amazing National Parks in the United Kingdom which I haven’t had the chance to visit yet. The likes of Northumberland, Dartmoor and Exmoor are all on looking likely in the next twelve months.

Hiking and Camping Gear
Knowing what gear to use on the trails and on campsites can be a difficult one. In these posts I give my opinion on some of the products and brands I have used with a focus on equipment that doesn’t always break the bank whilst fulfilling its purposes.
Who is &hiking?
I’m And and I love exploring the beautiful areas that we have here at home in the United Kingdom. Hiking and camping on some Great Britians. most beautiful places. I’ve hit a fair few mountains and hills along the way, and bagged a few trig points.
In the last coupe of years I’ve taken on some long multi-way hiking challenges. Some for charity like 24s’ 180 mile Stafford 2 Snowdon challenge, and more recently in 26′ my 550 mile N3PX Challenge.
I’ve also taken on some whole and sections of National Trails around the UK, like the West Highland Way (twice) and parts of the Limestone Way, Cumbria Way, Offas Dyke, John Muir Way, Trossachs Path and many more.
I try to share a very honest view of my hiking and camping trips, along with discussing some of the equipment I use, the campsites I stay at and even some recipes for hiking snacks and campsite meals.
